SAO HILL INDUSTRIES
Utilizing high quality timber from the southern highlands of Tanzania, Sao Hill operates the largest sawmill in East Africa. Originally built by Norwegian development aid in the mid 1970s, the mill produces high quality sawn timber as well as pallets, doors and other value added products. Sao Hill Industries also operates two state of the art timber treatment plant and several charcoal kilns.
